In the Society for Creative Anachronism<\/a>, I’m called The Honorable Cassia Carataca<\/a><\/strong>, Armiger (it\u2019s Romano-British so Carataca is the personal name, and Cassia the family name). This is about that.

I\u2019m mostly a scribe<\/strong>. I\u2019ve been making scrolls for \u00c6thelmearc, the East Kingdom, the Barony of Settmour Swamp (Northern NJ), the Barony of the Rhydderich Hael (Buffalo, NY) and the Crown Province of Ostgardr (NYC) since October 2022, and I really like making tiny art.

I\u2019ve been trying out different styles of illumination a bit at a time, but I think of myself mostly as a calligrapher and a combat scribe (someone who does it day-of or at least down to the wire before the event.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
