In the Society for Creative Anachronism, I’m called Cassia Carataca (it’s Romano-British so Carataca is the personal name, and Cassia the family name).

I’m mostly a scribe with a side dish of bardic. I’ve been making scrolls for Æthelmearc, the East Kingdom, the Barony of Settmour Swamp (Northern NJ), the Barony of the Rhydderich Hael (Buffalo, NY) and the Crown Province of Ostgardr (NYC) since October 2022, and I really like making tiny art.

I’ve been trying out different styles of illumination a bit at a time, but I think of myself mostly as a calligrapher and a combat scribe (someone who does it day-of or thereabouts.)
